Medical group controlled by Mid Europa Partners begins the process of integration.
LIM Medical Center, LUX MED, Medycyna Rodzinna, and Promedis have made the first step towards the integration and uniformity of their management structures – four managers coming from three companies of the Group have been appointed to the Management Boards of all Group companies.
The newly-appointed President of Management Boards of the Group companies is Anna Rulkiewicz-Kaczyńska; the other members being Dr Piotr Błaszczyński – Executive Director, Dr Barbara Gad-Karpierz – Medical Director and Michał Rybak – Financial Director. Elżbieta Piechota and Mirosław Żuk remain on the Management Board of Promedis, and Dr Piotr Olędzki and Dr Ireneusz Pikulicki remain on the Management Board of Medycyna Rodzinna.
Dr Barbara Ciepielewska, the President of LIM MC until now, has been appointed by Mid Europa Partners to the controlled by it the Mangement Board of a holding company that is a majority shareholder in all Group companies. In her new role, Dr Ciepielewska will support the Group with her experience and expertise.
Dr Joanna Perkowicz, who has been for many years LUX MED Medical Director, will take over responsibilty for medical safety and hospital services within the Group.
Anna Rulkiewicz, who, as a result of the changes made in the management structure, will be responsible for implemention of the Group’s strategy and coordination of the integration process - said,

LIM Medcal Center was established in the year 1991. At present, it is the third largest company in Poland in terms of revenue, which offers a full range of health and diagnostic services to individual and corporate clients. The company employs over 1000 doctors and attends to 250,000 patients in 15 own outpatient clinics located in major Polish cities (Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań and Łódż). It cooperates with over 370 medical partners throughout Poland as well as with hospitals and rehabilitation centres.
LUX MED Limited Liability Company offers a comprehensive medical care – diagnostics and medical services provided on an outpatient basis. It has been operating since 1992, being among the largest and well-known privately-owned medical firms in Poland with a network of 16 outpatient clinics in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Łodź, Cracow, Wrocław, Poznań, Bydgoszcz and Katowice. It cooperates with over 650 partner medical firms nationwide. Now, LUX MED employs about 1800 doctor specialists and attends to over 2000 companies. Under permanent agreements – the so called packages - LUX MED offers services to about 280,000 corporate and individual clients. The company also offers services for an individual payment - fee for service.
Medycyna Rodzinna Limited Liability Company employs over 600 specialists in 17 outpatient clinics in major Polish cities. It also operates a highly-specialized AVI Diagnostic Imaging Centre that performs diagnostics using a state of the art medical apparatus. Medycyna Rodzinna provides services by subscription for corporate clients; it cooperates with insurance companies and the National Health Fund (contracts for basic medical care). The company attends to over 146,000 corporate clients and over 206,000 individual clients (the National Health Fund).
PROMEDIS Limited Liability Company is another company of the LUX MED Group, which offers services on an outpatient basis. In 10 own outpatient clinics located in the west and south-western Poland, a team of over 300 specialists attend to 70,000 corporate and 15,000 individual clients. The company cooperates with more than 500 partner health care establishments throughout Poland.
Altogether, LUX MED, LIM MC, Promedis, and Medycyna Rodzinna operate 58 own outpatient clinics and 23 company-attached outpatient clinics. The companies cooperate with more than 900 partner health care establishments countrywide and attend to about 960,000 patients all over Poland.
