The Healthy Baby Programme - take care about your baby's health together with LIM Medical Center
The Healthy Baby Programme has been devised for babies aged up to 1 year; it includes 7 paediatric consultations and vaccinations, both those mandatory and recommended.
During his/her first year, a baby has to receive vaccination against six different diseases. Parents that wish to spare their baby so many vaccination-related pricks may decide on combined vaccinations
This will allow for the baby to have vaccination against 5 or 6 diseases at a time against such diseases as hepatitis B, diphtheria, tetanus (lockjaw), pertussis (whooping cough), poliomyelitis, and haemofilus inluenze (HIB). These vaccinations are not subject to refunding, which is why LIM Medical Center included them in the said programme to keep their cost at their lowest.
The programme also offers recommended vaccinations against pneumococcuss and rotavirus. On consultation with a doctor, parents may decide which vaccinations their baby will receive.
The programne provides full information about the schedule of visits and vaccinations; moreover, parents pay less money. Those holding special cards are offered a discount - zl.25 for a visit to a paediatrician and zl.15 for a vaccination. An additional seventh visit is free of charge, however, it is conditional on making at least 5 visits previously, thus you can start with the second visit.
The Healthy Baby Programme is available at all LIM Medical Center outpatient clinics in Warsaw, Cracow, Lodz, and Wrocław. Parents, on their first visit, will receive special cards containing coupons, which entitle them to successive visits and vaccinations.
