The role of physical activity

Not so long ago because a dozen or so years ago frequent back, joint or muscle pains were a problem concerning elderly people or those who performed hard physical work. Today together with the change of lifestyle and type of work to sitting the problem of chronic or severe spinal pains concerns people who are not even 30 years old.

Our muscles and joints are ideally tailored for dynamic work on the move. Unfortunately more and more often we are forced to stay in one sitting position for many hours. Keeping our body motionless requires permanent muscle tension. Also stress and rush, which accompany us during our everyday work increase this tension. Our body is more and more tired, we feel a tense neck, stiff back and our hips and knees become less and less elastic. And our physical fitness decreased from day to day despise our young metrical age.

Some of us undertake efforts to keep fit practicing our favorite sports on a regular basis. However unfortunately even these people are not free from pain and they get more and more prone to joint and tendon injuries and joint dislocation as the time goes by. It is caused by the fact that our body remembers motionlessness that lasts for a longer time than the Saturday-Sunday sport activity. Muscles and tendons become less and less flexible, joints more stiff so our posture changes and physical activity becomes more and more painful.

Until now many pain relievers have been invented, however they cure only the effect and not the source of the problem. There is no medication which would restore proper length and flexibility, We have to take care of it ourselves to restore its body to its most natural and correct conditions.

The safest and fastest way to restore our physical fitness is to do it under control of instructors and physiotherapists. A correct evaluation of the functional conditions of joins, muscle and tendon flexibility and individually matched movement skill therapy guarantees quick pain decrease and restoring of physical fitness appropriate for a given age.

But before we decide upon a vigorous physical effort or go for specialist advice we can try to restore former flexibility to our body. We can stretch our back delicately and painlessly by placing our joints in their most  outermost positions. Such stretching activities very quickly free our body from everyday tension, stiffness and pain and give us back lightness and freedom of movement in our everyday lives and during sports activity.
